Got a ticket in Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Murrieta, Palm Springs, Indio, or anywhere else in Riverside County? Your case goes to the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside. Here's how to look up your case, pay your ticket, and request traffic school so the point stays off your record.
How to Look Up Your Riverside County Ticket
To pay online you need your citation number or case number. Your citation number is on the ticket the officer gave you. Here's where to find your citation number. If you need your case number, you can look it up on the court's public access portal.

How to Request Traffic School in Riverside County
The Riverside court lets you sign up for traffic school online, by phone, in person, or by mail. The court says you're generally eligible if:
- Your ticket is a moving violation under the California Vehicle Code
- You haven't attended traffic school in the past 18 months
- You weren't driving a commercial vehicle
- The ticket doesn't require a court appearance or involve alcohol or drugs
- For speeding, you were no more than 25 mph over the limit
When you sign up, you pay the full fine plus the court's $52 traffic school fee. Then take a DMV-licensed course and finish by the court's deadline. The court's traffic school codes are 33460 for the Western Region and 33450 for the Desert Region. For more on the course, see our Riverside County traffic school page.
Under California law, one conviction in any 18-month period can be kept confidential when you finish traffic school, so the point stays off the record your insurance company sees. Commercial license holders who got the ticket in their own car can usually attend, but the conviction still shows on their record, without a point.
Fix-It Tickets
For a correctable violation, like a broken taillight, the court charges a $25 fee per corrected violation once you show proof of correction. The court says it won't accept proof of correction if the fine is already paid.
Can't Pay It All at Once?
The Riverside court offers payment plans by phone, in person, or by mail. Every California court also lets you ask for a lower amount, a payment plan, or more time through the state's MyCitations tool.
